PPP’s Sherry Rehman elected senator unopposed
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) vice-president Sherry Rehman has been elected as senator unopposed on a general seat from Sindh.
The seat was vacated by Latif Ansari.
Talking to the media after her election, he said that her degree was genuine and she had not got it from Axact.
“I will play the role of genuine opposition in the Senate. I will remind the government of its promises and raise issues of public interest,” she said.
