Would prefer to die than join PSP: Farooq Sattar
KARACHI (92 News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Dr Farooq Sattar on Sunday said that he has been facing pressure and threats to change his loyalties but he would prefer to die than join Mustafa Kamal-led Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP).
Talking to media in Karachi on Sunday, he said that he sought time of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javaid Bajwa and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Director General to explain things in this regard.
“I have also asked Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar for time,” he added.
Sattar revealed that the MQM lawmakers were being warned of dire consequences if they do not change party. He requested the Army Chief to take cognizance of the situation and take necessary steps to stop it.
