Preparations completed for Khatm-e-Nabuwwat conference in Gujranwala
GUJRANWALA (92 News) – Preparations have been completed for the Khtam-e-Nabuwwat Conference to be held in Sheranwala Gate, Gujranwala on Sunday (today).
A large number of people from across the country have reached the rally spot to participate in the conference. Banners, Panaflexes and posters have been displayed in the city.
A convoy of large number of people led by Pir Hameeduddin Sialvi is heading towards Gujranwala from Sial Shareef to participate in the conference.
Pir Hameeduddin Sialvi said that they have come out for the Khtam-e-Nabuwwat, adding that they will go to Lahore if their demands are not met. We will announce our next course of action if Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah didn’t resign, he added.
Hamid Raza said that the matter will go beyond the resignation of Rana Sanaullah after tomorrow’s conference.
“We can march towards Faisalabad with a sea of the people if our objective is to do politics,” he maintained.
He said that the PML-N should conduct elections on the seat vacated after the resignations and will come to know about its political worth.
On the other hand, a total of 10 Union Council Counselors have resigned from their posts saying they strongly condemn Rana Sanaullah’s statements.
The ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Member National Assembly (MNA) Nisar Jutt and Member Punjab Assembly (MPA) Raza Nasrullah Ghumman have also resigned from their posts.
