ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Preparations for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Youm-e-Tashakar rally in Islamabad’s Parade Ground are in full swing on Wednesday.
The PTI chief will address the participants of the rally at the Parade Ground and announce the next course of action.
PTI activists have started gathering as the preparations for the rally are in process.
Thousands of chairs have been installed for the public, while the stage has been completed for the party leaders.
The roads have been decorated on all sides with party flags as party activists are reaching the rally spot.
Separate sitting arrangements have been made for ladies in the rally, while walk through entry gates have been setup.
Earlier, PTI chairman Imran Khan announced to postpone the sit-in and observe the Youm-e-Tashakar on Wednesday. He made the announcement after the court proceedings in connection with the Panama Leaks.
He said that their objective had been fulfilled and now the prime minister would be frisked from Thursday. “We are glad at the verdict of the Supreme Court,” he said. The PTI chairman said that Nawaz Sharif had tried to escape from accountability.
