Present politics, electoral system not for poor people, says Sirajul Haq
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq has on Sunday while announced to launch a movement for prosperous Pakistan said that the present electoral system is to protect status.
Addressing the youth convention in Islamabad on Sunday, Sirajul Haq said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah wanted to make an Islamic Pakistan but we are ashamed that we have divided Pakistan into two parts and we couldn’t protect it.
He said that the present politics and electoral system is not for poor people but it is for the protection of status, adding that not a single minister of their party is accused of corruption.
The JI chief said that if they came to power, corruption, ignorance and poverty would be their enemy.
