Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif announces participation in Sindh politics
KARACHI (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has announced to take part in the politics of Sindh, including Karachi.
Addressing a gathering of Holi at Governor’s House on Tuesday, he asked the workers to prepare as the PML-N will vigorously contest the elections across Sindh next year.
He said that the work on Karachi Circular Railway will start soon. “We restored peace in Karachi. A row is going on between those making progress and their enemies,” he maintained.
The prime minister said that garbage was the provincial issue and they themselves should resolve it.
He said that Islam rejects discrimination on account of religion. “I will support those oppressed on account of their faith. All citizens share national interests,” he said.
Nawaz Sharif announced an Rs 500 million grant for welfare of Hindu citizens.
He said that Pakistan has the brightest future in Asia. “Forced conversion is a crime,” he said.
