Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif hints at changes in PCB
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has hinted at changes in the Pakistan Cricket Board.
He held a meeting with Interior Minister Ch Nisar and discussed poor performance of the cricket team in the World Twenty20.
Ch Nisar has demanded that the fact-finding committee should be made public.
Earlier, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chaired a high-level meeting regarding national and internal security.
Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and other high ranking officials attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed the progress made under the National Action Plan.
Sources said that the Rangers operation in Punjab also came under discussion during the meeting. The meeting agreed to intensify operations against terrorists in the country.
