Pakistan’s negative economic rating has become positive, says PM Nawaz Sharif

JHANG (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that country’s negative economic rating has become positive.

He was addressing a gathering after laying the foundation stone of Haveli Bahadur Shah power plant in Jhang on Friday.

“The promise of ending loadshedding is seen being fulfilled. The people have given us the mandate of prosperity and progress. For how long we will indulge in fun,” he said.

The prime minister also announced a decrease in the prices of Urea and DAP.

“The loadshedding curse started in the Musharraf era. The promise of ending it will be fulfilled in the coming days,” he maintained.


He reiterated his resolve to root out terrorism. “The dream of peace in Karachi will definitely come true,” he added.

Nawaz Sharif said that an amount of Rs 570 billion will be saved through the LNG projects. “A record increase has been witnessed in the foreign reserves. We will provide solar tube-wells to farmers,” he said.

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif criticized the NEPRA. “1,230 megawatts power will be generated through the project,” he said.
