PM Nawaz Sharif visits quake-hit Dasu, reprimands DCO for poor arrangements
DASU (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif visited the quake-hit areas of Dasu and reprimanded the DCO for not making timely arrangements.
He ordered to immediately shift helicopters and heavy machinery to the difficult terrains to expedite relief activities.
He said that the quake victims would start receiving financial assistance from Monday. “We will not leave the quake victims alone.”
Earlier on his arrival, he was briefed about the losses and relief activities. He was informed that 12 people had been killed in Dasu.
Addressing the victims, he said that there was no compensation for the life.
“However, we will compensate for the losses of the earthquake victims,” he added.
