Prime Minister Nawaz to meet Indian PM Modi

UFA (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will engage in a bilateral discussion with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on Friday, at the sidelines of the ongoing Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Russia.

The meeting, the first between the two South Asian leaders in more than a year was initiated by New Delhi.

Nawaz Sharif will raise the issue of recent statements issued by the Indian leadership.

The premier will also discuss Indian aggression on the working boundary and Line of Control.


Earlier the two leaders held a brief meeting during the dinner in honour of the BRICS leaders.

During the meeting the two leaders shook hands and exchanged pleasant words.
