Protesting farmers warn of long march toward Islamabad
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The farmers protesting on the Mall Road for the last three days have warned of starting a long march towards Islamabad in a few days if the government did not accept their demands.
Several political parties and civil society reached the Mall Road to express solidarity with them.
The protesters said that they would close every city of Punjab if the government did not accept their demands.
“The rulers have always done injustice with them whenever they came to power. We are unable to even get the production cost due to the policies of the rulers,” they said.
They said that they would bring their tractors and agricultural tools on the road and see how the government did not accept their demands.
