Provinces debate hamper talks for provincial caretaker set-up

QUETTA/KARACHI/LAHORE (92 News) – As the incumbent government nears the end of its tenure after six days, all provinces chief ministers are scheduled to hold a meeting with the leaders of the opposition in the provincial assembly over the interim CM.

The meeting of Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Mehmoodur Rasheed expected on Friday for discussing about the Punjab caretaker chief minister.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah was trying to make Hameer Soomro as Sindh caretaker chief minister.

Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo and Opposition Leader in Balochistan Assembly Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal met in Quetta to discuss the caretaker setup in the province for the upcoming general elections. Both sides presented eight names each for the slot of caretaker chief minister of Balochistan.
