PTI reschedules Faisalabad meeting for May 20
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has rescheduled the Faisalabad meeting for May 20, which was scheduled to be held on May 8.
Earlier, the PTI had cancelled the meeting.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesman Naeemul Haq said that chairman Imran Khan had canceled the meeting in Faisalabad following the incidents of harassment of female participants during the rallies in Lahore and Islamabad.
He said that Imran Khan was worried about the incident of misbehavior with women in Islamabad and Lahore.
He said that the party does not trust Punjab Police with regard to security.
Naeemul Haq said that the PTI chairman would address the rallies in Peshawar on May 9 and Bannu on May 11.
