PTI chairman Imran Khan abolishes all party designations, announces interim organizing set-up

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has abolished all the party designations and announced an interim organizing set-up.

Addressing a press conference at his residence on Saturday, he said that temporary designations are being introduced in the party. “Arif Alvi and Ch Sarwar will be the organisers in Sindh and Punjab,” he said.

Imran Khan said that democracy will benefit even though the Judicial Commission inquiry lingers on for one or two months.

“In his report, Justice (retd) Wajihuddin has said that we should move toward re-election in the party,” he said

The PTI chairman hoped that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will announce the election this year. “We will accept the verdict of the Judicial Commission.”

Refusing to say anything about Axact, he said that an article published in a foreign country and the action started in the entire country.

He welcomed the Zimbabwe tour, saying that the affairs of the Pakistan Cricket Board are in disarray and he would set them aright.
