Muslim Ummah will suffer a loss if Saudi-Iran tension increased, says Imran Khan
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PTI chairman Imran Khan met with the ambassadors of Iran and Saudi Arabia to reduce tension between both countries on Friday.
Meanwhile, Shah Mahmood Qureshi also met with the Chinese ambassador.
Later addressing a press conference, PTI chairman Imran Khan said that the Muslim Ummah would suffer a loss if tension continued to increase between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
He said that he had met with the ambassadors of both countries to reduce tension between both countries.
“Iran is of the view that Saudi coalition is against it, not against terrorism,” he said.
The PTI chairman said that Pakistan could play a role to mitigate the dispute between Iran and Saudi Arabia. “Pakistan should play the role of mediation.”
He said that they had condemned the Pathankot attack. “India PM Narendra Modi had said that an attempt would be made to sabotage the peace dialogues,” he maintained.
Imran Khan said that there were some people in India who did not want to see better relations between both countries.
