PTI councilor shot dead in Gujranwala
GUJRANWALA (92 News) – A councilor belonging to the PTI was shot dead in a dispute over erecting a panflex in Faisal Town area on Friday.
The workers of the PTI and the PML-N had a dispute over the issue. Later, one Ahmed Butt opened fire on the people sitting in a street.
As a result, eight people were injured and shifted to hospital where Amjad died.
Muneeb, Faisal, Shoaib, Muhammad Ali, Afzal and Imran are being treated in Civil Hospital. The deceased had defected to the PTI before the elections.
The police have started investigations into the matter.
