PTI expresses concern over Islamic military alliance, calls for joint NA session
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has demanded to immediately call a joint session of National Assembly over Pakistan joining the Saudi-led Islamic Military Alliance.
The PTI has submitted a resolution in the National Assembly Secretariat in this regard on Wednesday.
The resolution was submitted by PTI leaders Dr Shireen Mazari, Asad Umar and Dr Arif Alvi.
In the resolution, the PTI has expressed concern over the government’s decision to join the military alliance led by Saudi Arab against the terrorism.
The PTI said that it has serious reservations over the decision made without consulting the Parliament.
It added that the Parliament is completely unaware of the causes and effects of joining this alliance.
