PTI to file review petition against disqualification of Jahangir Tareen
ISLAMABAD (92 News) The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced to file a review petition against the verdict of the Supreme Court that disqualified PTI secretary general Jahangir Tareen.
Talking to the media outside the Supreme Court on Friday, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said that there were three allegations against Jahangir Tareen and two out of three had been rejected.
“Jahangir Tareen has been disqualified for one allegation, which is a technical issue,” he maintained.
He said that today’s verdict has proved their stance true. The PTI leader said that Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen had no comparison with the Panama mafia. “It is great injustice to compare our case with theirs’,” he said.
