PTI interim set-up dissolved, consensus reached on intra-party elections
KARACHI (92 News) – The interim set-up of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been dissolved, while consensus has been reached on holding intra-party elections.
The decision was made during a meeting presided over by PTI chairman Imran Khan on Monday.
The meeting also discussed the defeat in the local bodies elections.
Addressing the meeting, Imran Khan said that the local bodies elections were also rigged.
“The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) was in collusion with the Punjab and Sindh governments,” he alleged.
