PTI, JI hold joint rally in Karachi; urge people to vote for change
KARACHI (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) held a joint rally on Friday during which the leaders of both political parties appealed to the people to exercise their right to vote to bring change.
The activists of Tameer Karachi Ittehad gathered near Board office in North Nazimabad and chanted slogans.
The rally started after the arrival of JI leader Hafiz Naeem and PTI leaders Arif Alvi and Imran Ismail, while the leaders addressed the rally in Five Star Chorangi.
Addressing the rally, the JI leader Hafiz Naeem said that the people Karachi will vote against extortion and prolonged loadsheddings.
On the occasion the PTI leader Arif Alvi said that Karachi should be given its due share, adding that the people governing the city for the last 25 years could not even establish a transport system.
