PTI leader Shafqat Mehmood resigns from post following PTI’s worst performance
LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shafqat Mehmood has on Sunday resigned from the post of party organiser in Lahore, following the party’s worst performance in the local body elections.
Verifying his resignation, the PTI leader Shafqat Mehmood posted a message on the social media saying, “As a district in charge it is my moral duty to accept responsibility for this poor performance. I have resigned as Lahore organiser,”
“PTI fared much worse than was expected in Lahore LG elections. We did our best but our best was not good enough,” he added.
