PTI resolving 25 years old water problems, says Faisal Vawda
LAHORE (92 News) – Minister for Water Resources Muhammad Faisal Vawda has said that the PTI-led government is resolving the 25-years old problems of water in the country.
Speaking to the journalists on Tuesday at WAPDA House, the minister said that he got only 38 days from 100 days after assuming designation for work. He assured that every province would be treated equally and committed to take solid measures for solution of water issues.
Faisal said that the government is working on water footing for early execution of water projects in the country. He said the PTI government wants to complete Dasu Dam in Kohistan district within four and a half year.
The minister said that all the issues related with the project have been resolved and preparations are underway to generate electricity from the Dasu Hydel power project.
Faisal Vawda expressed regret over the shutting down of telemeters on water resouces across the country by the previous government.
