KOT MOMIN (92 News) – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the public court verdict is a referendum against the decision on his disqualification.

Addressing a mammoth public meeting on Saturday, he said: “Is it a joke that an elected prime minister is disqualified over an ‘Iqama’ and for not getting an imaginary salary.”

He said that the verdict of the masses will be accepted across the country. “The five-member bench of the SC deciding on the Panama Leaks will have to answer to the question that from where Nawaz Sharif did corruption,” he added.

He said that the ‘favourite’ person will find no place to hide his face.

The former PM said that he feels the PML-N will win the next elections.

“More motorways will be constructed and Sui gas will be provided to the area. Nawaz Sharif fulfills the promise he makes with the people,” he declared.

Earlier addressing the meeting, Maryam Nawaz said that some people are not digesting the progress made by Pakistan. “I feel that the PML-N will win the next elections.”

She said that nothing could be elicited from the Nawaz Sharif case. “The ‘Iqama’ emerges from the Panama if there is intention to punish someone,” she added.
