Punjab beat Sindh by five wickets to reach Asia Cup final
FAISALABAD (92 News) – Punjab defeated Sindh by five wickets to reach the final of the Asia Cup at the Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad on Friday.
Batting first, Sindh scored 158 runs in the stipulated 50 overs. Fawad Alam (62) and Sarfraz Ahmed (40) were the main scorers.
Ehsan Adil and Zulfiqar Babar took three wickets each, while Aamir Yamin and Kashif Bhatti got two wickets each.
In reply, Punjab achieved the target for the loss of five wickets in the 28th over.
Shan Masood (59), Salman Butt (39), Shoaib Malik (15) and Mohammad Rizwan (15) were the main scorers.
Mohammad Amir and Sohail Khan took two wickets.
