Punjab govt announces to introduce Corona Ordinance 2020
LAHORE (92 News) – The Punjab government has announced to introduce the Corona Ordinance 2020 to control the epidemic.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said that the government would appoint 10,000 doctors and paramedics.
He said that an amount of Rs11 billion had been issued to the Health Department. “A committee has been formed to decide on the vacations in educational institutions,” he added.
The chief minister said that the local bodies elections have been postponed for nine months. “The Punjab government is fully prepared to fight against coronavirus,” he added.
He announced that he and the cabinet members would donate one-month salary to the Coroanvirus Emergency Fund.
