Punjab govt announces uplift projects in constituencies of PTI ticket-holders
LAHORE (92 News) – The Punjab government has announced uplift projects in the constituencies of PTI ticket-holders of the national and provincial assemblies.
The announcement was made by Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar during a meeting with ticket-holders on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said that there is neither a forward bloc nor a pressure group in Punjab. “All stakeholders are on the same page. The designs of those making propaganda of differences will fail,” he declared.
The chief minister said that the PTI is united under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan. “Those conspiring will lag behind and New Pakistan will continue to make progress under Imran Khan,” he added.
Meanwhile, CM Usman Buzdar held a meeting with PTI leader Jahangir Tareen. They discussed political matters and overall situation.
Jahangir Tareen said that ticket-holders had gained thousands of votes. “Strengthening of them is to strengthen the party,” he said.
