Punjab govt asked to provide record of “Khushal Pakistan Program”
LAHORE (92 News) – The National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) Lahore chapter on Wednesday summoned record of “Khushal Pakistan Program” from the Punjab government.
Further increasing the difficulties of the Punjab government, the anti-graft watchdog’s Lahore chapter asked the authorities of the provincial government to provide record of “Khushal Pakistan Program”.
Punjab Planning and Development Department Secretary received a letter from the NAB Lahore Additional Director Khawar Illyas in this regard.
The letter stated that following the complaints, the anti-graft agency had initiated investigation into the “Khushal Pakistan Program” and asked the provincial government to provide record.
Earlier, the NAB chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal was unhappy with the Punjab government’s “non-cooperation” with the bureau on various investigations it had initiated against the provincial government.
