Punjab govt or Banigala not related to Pakpattan DPO issue: minister
LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Information Minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan has said that the Punjab government or Banigala is not related to the Pakpattan DPO issue.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, he said that complaints were being lodged against the DPO since long. “The IGP Punjab is investigating the matter, which is an internal matter of the Police department,” he said.
He said that the Punjab government will implement the three-point agenda set by Prime Minister Imran Khan. “We will not use official resources against Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif or another rival,” he said.
The minister said that the Punjab Assembly is in a shambles after 10 years. “The Right to Information Act was imposed in Punjab, but practically nothing could be done,” he said.
About the CM’s protocol, he said that Pakpattan city has not been closed due to protocol of the chief minister.
