Punjab University former professor shot dead in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) – A former professor of Punjab University was shot dead in Mustafabad area on Friday. According to the police, bikers shot Ahmed Ali Chattha in the head and fled. He died on the spot. The police have shifted the body to morgue for autopsy. Further investigations are underway. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken notice of the incident. He sought a report from the Lahore CCPO and ordered to arrest the killers at the earliest. He said that the killers will be brought to justice at all costs. He also shared his sympathies with the bereaved family.
