Emir of Qatar arrives in Islamabad on two-day visit, accorded warm welcome
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived in Islamabad on a two-day visit on Monday.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif welcomed him at the airport. It is his first official visit to Pakistan as the Emir of Qatar.
He is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Cabinet ministers and senior government officials.
The armed forces presented him the guard of honour. He was also given a 21-gun salute.
Earlier, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani had visited Pakistan in 2010 as the then Crown Prince of Qatar.
