QAU administration, students dialogues successful, Varsity to open on Monday
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The dialogues between district administration and the students of Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) ended successfully after the Varsity administration reversed 10 percent increase in fee.
Following the successful dialogues, the teaching process will start from Monday.
One of country’s top university was closed for two weeks due to protests.
The QAU students were on strike against the university administration, demanding that expelled students be restored. The students were expelled a couple of months ago for causing unrest in campus.
Also, the protesting students had demanded that the university improve students’ facilities, construct new hotels, withdraw hike in fees and so on in their 13-point charter of demand.
