Quadrilateral meeting on Afghan peace process to be held tomorrow

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A quadrilateral meeting on Afghan peace process between representatives of Pakistan, Afghanistan, China and America will be held in Islamabad on Monday (tomorrow).

Secretary Foreign Affairs Aizaz Chaudhry, US Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Richard Olson, Afghan Vice Foreign Minister Hikmat Karzai and China’s Special Representative for US and Pakistan will attend the meeting to discuss ways to further the reconciliatory process in Afghanistan.

Sources said that the quadrilateral committee comprising the four countries and Afghan Taliban has contacted each others, in which the Taliban have presented their demands for peace process and the road map to carry forward the peace process will be made.
