Rana Sanaullah reveals contact between Jahangir Tareen, Nawaz Sharif
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Senior Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Rana Sanaullah has revealed the contact between estranged PTI leader Jahangir Tareen and former premier Nawaz Sharif in London.
In exclusive talk with “THE LAST HOUR” program in 92 News channel, Rana Sanaullah said that there was made no direct contact between Nawaz Sharif and Jahangir Tareen.
“According to my information, contact was made through other people. Nawaz Shrif is getting his treatment and treating the government in London,” the former law minister maintained.
Earlier, Rana Sanaullah didn’t rule out the possibility of a meeting or contact between the former premier and PTI leader. “If any contact is made [between them], it will be in front of all,” he added.
“It’s not in my knowledge if Jahangir Tareen sahib made an attempt [to meet Nawaz Sharif], neither did Nawaz Sharif expressed any desire to meet Jahangir Tareen,” Sanaullah said. “But I can’t say that they can’t meet or there can’t be any contact [between them].”
It is pertinent to mention here that Tareen – who used to be a close aide of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan, is currently in London for his medical treatment. The PTI leader was completely sidelined from the party after an inquiry team named him as one of the beneficiaries of the sugar crisis that hit the country earlier this year.
