Rangers defamation case: SHC gives time to MQM leader Waseem Akhtar to submit reply

KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh High Court has on Thursday gave time to Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Waseem Akhtar to submit reply until March 15 in Sindh Rangers defamation case.

The SHC heard a petition of Sindh Rangers compensation in which the applicant Major Ubaid said that the MQM leader Waseem Akhtar leveled baseless allegation against Rangers in a TV channel show of stealing and snatching the sacrificial hides of animals in Karachi during last Eid-ul-Azha.

The lawyers of MQM leader appealed for some time to submit reply on which the court gave him time until March 15.
