Rangers’ powers issue: PPP, ANP stage walkout of Senate

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Awami National Party (ANP) have on Wednesday staged a walkout of the lower House of the parliament against giving policing powers to Rangers by the federal government.

Addressing the Senate session, Saeed Ghani said that PPP’s objection over giving special powers to Rangers should not be made a political fight, adding that the federal government has imposed restrictions on Sindh government’s authority.

Meanwhile, Farhatullah Babar said that the federal government has attacked Sindh and we strongly oppose this act.
