Rangers’ Powers issue: SHC issues notices to federal, Sindh govts
KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh High Court has on Tuesday issued notices to federal and Sindh governments in a petition pertaining to limiting Rangers’ special powers for January 5.
The SHC heard a petition regarding Rangers’ policing powers, in which the text of which Sindh Assembly resolution regarding was also presented.
The petitioner said that the curbs on Rangers’ powers have been passed just to protect terrorist and the Karachi’s peace will be destroyed if Rangers would not be given full powers.
The court after listening the petitioner’s stance issued notices to federal and Sindh governments for January 5.
