Rangers’ raids in Karachi: Seven arrested from Sunni Tehreek office

KARACHI (92 News) – In different raids carried out by the Sindh Rangers, officials took into custody seven workers of the Sunni Tehreek (ST) in a raid at the central office situated in Garden area on Wednesday night, along with raiding Fishermen’s Cooperative Society Vice Chairman Sultan Qamar Siddiqui’s residence and arresting him in Thursday’s wee hours.

According to reports, all the entry and exit points of the area were sealed before the raid on the Sunni Tehreek’s office before the personnel searched all the floors of Moeen Plaza and areas surrounding the building and arrested 15 people. The arrested persons were shifted to some undisclosed location for further investigation.
