Rangers release MQM leader Mansoor Qamar after preliminary investigation
KARACHI (92 News) – The Rangers released MQM leader Mansoor Qamar after the preliminary investigation on Wednesday.
Presenting a report in the anti-terrorism court, the Law Officer said that preliminary investigation of Qamar Mansoor had been completed.
“Qamar Mansoor had made several important disclosures and he is being released on humanitarian grounds. However, he will continue to join the investigations,” they said.
MQM Rabita Committee member Kaif Alwari and Qamar Mansoor were arrested during a raid on the Nine Zero, while an ATC had handed them over to the Rangers for 90 days on July 22.
Qamar Mansoor was accused of sheltering terrorists and acting as facilitator during the Altaf Hussain’s speech.
