Rangers seals Nine-Zero including MQM related buildings

KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Rangers carried out an operation at the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) headquarters Nine-Zero and other party buildings in Karachi late last night.

Rangers’ Sector Commander Sachal Brigadier Khurram Shahzad informed media that anti-state literature and weapons, including five SMGs and two pistols, were recovered during the operation.

Rangers sealed MQM related buildings, including Nine-Zero Khursheed Begum Memorial Secretariat and media cell after completing all legal requirements.

In a statement, Director General Sindh Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar has said strict action will be taken against those responsible for provoking people to create such a situation.


The DG Rangers said identification will be made of the people through camera footage who made attacks on media houses and chanted anti-state slogans.

He said situation in the city is under control and the whole situation is being monitored closely.
