Ranking of Karachi improves in International Crime Index
KARACHI (92 News) – Inspector General of Police Sindh Dr Kaleem Imam has said that the ranking of Karachi has further improved in the International Crime Index, with the city securing the 99th place in the index.
He appreciated the performance of the Additional IG and other officers that improved the law and order.
The Sindh IG said that Karachi was ranked 88th in the International Crime Index by the end of January, while it was at 93th place by mid of February.
“Today Karachi is peaceful due to sacrifices of the police. The sacrifices of the officers and jawans of police, Rangers and other law enforcement agencies martyred in the Karachi operation are unforgettable,” he said.
