COAS General Raheel Sharif expresses concern over RAW involvement in Balochistan
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – COAS General Raheel Sharif called on Iranian President Hassan Rouhani at Islamabad on Saturday.
During the meeting, the COAS told the Iranian president that there is concern that the RAW is involved in Pakistan, especially Balochistan.
“Sometimes the RAW also uses the soil of our brotherly country Iran. I request they should be told to stop these activities and allow Pakistan to achieve stability,” he maintained.
Matters related to regional security and Pak -Iran relations came under discussion.
The Iranian president paid rich tributes to the professionalism of Pakistan Army and its phenomenal achievements in operation Zarb-e-Azb.
The COAS highlighted the challenges being faced by Pakistan and discussed involvement of RAW in internal affairs of Pakistan, especially in Balochistan.
