Ready for accountability, if any graft charges proven against me: Nawaz
GUJRAT (92 News) – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said that he was ready for accountability, if any corruption charges are proven against him.
Addressing a public gathering in Gujrat on Sunday, he said that the people have given their decision to keep fighting the war of prestige of vote.
Nawaz Sharif said his message has reached up to all hearts of Pakistanis and every corner of the country.
“The upcoming general elections will be a referendum regarding his disqualification,” he added.
The former PM said that he was ousted from premiership and party head over not taking salary from his son and challenged his political opponents to contest election in Gujrat.
Criticizing the judges once again, he said that verdicts against him were revenge and anger.
I have also signed the atomic program so should that also be finished, he said, adding that the air bases air bases and motorway should also be closed down because he had signed them.
Addressing the public gathering, PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz said that the party achieved a historic victory in the Senate elections.
She presented salute to all the MNAs and MPAs of the PML-N for writing a new history.
She said that the name of Nawaz Sharif is affixed with every development projects and no power can remove it.
