Record wheat purchased first time in history of Punjab: CM Buzdar
LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that the record wheat was purchased first time in history of Punjab.
Expressing his views in the National Assembly on Tuesday, he said that there were three economic zones in the province. “We are going to make 13 economic zones in a short period,” he said.
The chief minister said that 12 new hospitals would be constructed. “We are going to run the Orange Line Train,” he said.
He said that approval had been granted for a pilot project to install an oxygen plant. “The PTI government believes in merit and officers are appointed on merit,” he said.
CM Usman Buzdar said that they are simultaneously dealing with dengue, coronavirus and flood. “The number of beds and ventilators has been increased in hospitals,” he said.
He said that 800,000 acres have been sprayed to eliminate the locusts attack. “We have presented the near-to reality budget under these circumstances,” he maintained.
