Rehman Malik appears before JIT, investigated for two and a half hours
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PPP leader Rehman Malik appeared before the joint investigation team probing into the Panama Leaks, which interrogated him for two and a half hours.
After the hearing on Thursday, he said that the people doubted that he would not speak against Nawaz Sharif.
“I have neither come to save anyone nor take revenge from anyone,” he maintained.
The former interior minister said that he had full confidence in the JIT. “I uttered each word of the report submitted to the Supreme Court,” he added.
Ex-federal minister had reached Pakistan after cutting short his UK trip, to appear before Joint Investigation Team (JIT).
Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had directed Rehman Malik to return Pakistan at earliest and appear before the JIT.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and PM’ s sons Hussain and Hassan Nawaz had also appeared before the JIT.
