Relations with China basic pillar of Pakistan’s foreign policy: PM

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Monday that relations with China are the basic pillar of Pakistan’s foreign policy.

He stated while chairing a high level meeting in Islamabad to discuss matters relating to the prime minister’s visit to China and the CPEC projects.

The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi among other federal ministers including finance, information, planning, railways and energy.

During the meeting, the prime minister was being briefed on key projects, including the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). It was also reported that the preparations for PM Imran’s visit to China are also being discussed.

PM Imran Khan is scheduled to visit China this month. Chinese PM Li Keqiang had extended an invite to Prime Minister Imran Khan for an official visit to the country.
