Resignations, long march will be after Senate election: Maulana Fazalur Rehman
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PDM chairman Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that the options of resignations and long march will be considered after the Senate election.
Talking to a delegation on Tuesday, he said that the government would have benefitted had they tendered the resignations before the Senate election. "We have not taken a U-turn over resignations and long march. We have just changed the strategy," he added.
The PDM chairman said that they are not eager to march towards Rawalpindi. "There is an option of the no-confidence motion, but it does not seem to be implemented," he added.
He said that the PDM was not holding talks with the government or establishment. "If someone wants to hold talks with us, he should first fulfill our promises," he maintained.
