Rumpus in Punjab Assembly as speaker, PTI member exchange barbs
LAHORE (92 News) – The session of Punjab Assembly witnessed a rumpus when speaker and a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader had an exchange of hot words.
Mian Aslam pointed out the quorum twice at which the speaker said that the quorum is complete.
Punjab Assembly Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal said ‘shut up’ to PTI leader Mian Aslam Iqbal. This followed an exchange of heated argument between the PTI leader and the speaker, creating discord in the session.
The PTI leaders then boycotted the session and staged a walk out of the assembly while Mian Aslam Iqbal and Shoaib Siddiqui chanted slogans of ‘go speaker go’.
