KARACHI (92 News) – A sacked factory worker took other employees hostage at gunpoint on Tuesday. Saleem also claimed of possessing explosive in his bag. Later, he surrendered to the police. Talking to the media, he said that he was sacked six months ago and not given the salary. “I have not harmed any person. I want to record my statement to Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa,” he said. He said that he wants to change the system in the country and should be provided with justice. Malir SSP Munir Sheikh told the media that the accused is a former employee of the factory. He said that manager Salman, Haq Nawaz and Dilshad have been made hostage. “The armed man is also watching TV,” he said. He asked the media not to live telecast the incident.
