Sarfraz Merchant decides to visit Pakistan, assured of full security
LONDON (92 News) – Sarfraz Merchant has decided to visit Pakistan to record his statement in the money laundering case against the MQM leaders.
The final date for his visit to Islamabad will be decided in a couple of days.
Earlier, he received the new letter sent to him by the Federal Investigation Agency. Sources revealed that Sarfraz Merchant had discussed the letter with his lawyers.
They said that the Interior Ministry had assured Sarfraz Merchant of full security during his visit to Pakistan.
“In the letter, the authorities sought an apology over old summons considering him as a witness in the case,” they said.
