KARACHI (92 News) – Nighat Mirza is still hopeful of reprieve of the execution of her husband Saulat Mirza, an MQM worker on death row.

Talking to 92 News exclusively after last meeting with her husband, she said that real murderers will not be apprehended for ever if Saulat Mirza executed.

She said that her husband is the eyewitness to several incidents of target killing.

“If he (Saulat) is executed, the Shahid Hamid case will be closed and the conditions in Karachi will never improve,” she said.

She said that she hoped that the government will reprieve her husband’s execution.

“I have high hopes with the appeal made to President Mamnoon Hussain against Saulat Mirza’s execution,” she said.
